This women-only cultural experience in Bamiyan offers a rare opportunity to spend time in the women’s section of a local family park while learning traditional Afghan arts directly from local women. Guided by an Afghan female tour guide, the tour focuses on creativity, community, and everyday life in a safe and welcoming environment. During the experience, you will take part in henna art and a traditional embroidery class led by Ms. Zainab Karimi, Head of the Roshān Social & Cultural Handicrafts Association in Bamiyan. Born in Foladi village in the Kata Sang area, she began her journey as a teacher at the age of 17 and now works with her female students to preserve and pass on local handicraft traditions. This hands-on experience highlights women’s skills, creativity, and social life in Bamiyan, offering meaningful interaction that is not possible to arrange independently. By joining the tour, you directly support Afghan women artisans, teachers, and female-led tourism initiatives.
